Although President Obama is getting a lot of oppositions from critics, we must remember that he inherited a world of problems. These problems cannot be fixed in a year, or two, or three, and perhaps even four years. However, my prayer is that God will grant him the wisdom to lead this country. Some may want to see him fail, but as long as the people of God keep him lifted up in prayer he cannot fail because there is no failure in God.

So how do you all feel now about President Obama? He is truly running our country into the ground and is going to make it a communist country if he keeps it up. He is not sticking to what he said he would do.... and Im really disappointed in him and where he is coming from. His true colors are flying and it isnt based on what our forefathers built this country on. God and God Himself. Obama is totally leaving God out and doing all he can to remove Him like they did from the schools! This is an outrage!

I'd like to make a comment about Michael Moore's comments. You sound like a full blown republican to me, and that is your choice and I do respect that. If you are not "Black" then you have NO right to dictate or belittle on how we express how we feel about our nation's first President of color! You can read and educate yourself all you want on Black Culture, but until you are born black and have to live in the black world, then you don't have a clue as to what you are talking about! If you are a Christian, I don't know who's God you've been serving, but our God (and there is only ONE God) has answered a prayer that our ancestrys have been our their knees praying and dying for since we became in existance! Last but not least, if you are "Black" then I feel really sorry for you, because you really don't have a clue as to who's you are! Oh yes, I said "who's" you might have to read this over and over until it really sink in to your spirit! In the meantime, I'll be praying generationally for you.

It was destine to be for this day that Obma is where he is. It goes to show us a people especially people of God that if God can do it for him. Just think what he can do for us. Even when he did he campaign Yes We Can. I had to take it spiritually that if I can have faith the size of a mustard seed and just hold to the promises of God the same way he move for him he'll move for me to. The only that change is us God word does not change it stay just the same. That was also a part of Obma campaign Change can come but it up to us if we want change. I don't know about anybody else but spiritually I need a change. To long sitting in the same place. It not that God can't move he waiting on us to see what we are going to do. That is how I look at this with us have a African American as our president he not our god he the president and a human being. I just keep him and Michelle in pray everyday.

I did not support President Obama's candidacy because of his political and social views, specifically his pro-abortion voting record and his far left socialist agenda that we see unfolding in this new spending bill forced thru Congress only hours ago. However, I believe the Bible is clear that God chooses authority and He moves the hearts of the kings how he wishes. I may not support many of President Obama's policies, but he is my President and I will support him and pray for him to be guided by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ just as we should for all our leaders. I believe elections are God-ordained opportunities for us to choose wisely godly leaders, but we can also choose unwisely...either way, I believe God uses the outcome to teach us just as he did the Jews when they wanted kings and judges instead of priests and God. There were times when the people chose wisely and leaders governed with wisdom and clarity...other times, they made poor choices and suffered the consequences sometimes for generations.

I don't believe God is a democrat or republican, liberal or conservative...but I do believe that there are principles that are evident to anyone with an open mind that can be found in any politicians voting record and written opinions that give insight as to what is the motivating energy behind his or her views, positions, and actions. I can only pray that America didn't chose unwisely this election cycle. I was emailed tonight what may be a positive change in President Obama's pro-abortion stance. This was only 9 days ago. I hope that it's true. It was taken from the National Review Online which is a conservative magazine founded by William F. Buckley, jr decades ago, a staunch prolife devout Catholic. It is an opinion piece to be sure, but that shouldn't preclude the reader finding the facts also in the article. I hope it is correct. This nation has killed 40 million unborn babies since Roe v Wade. As Billy Graham once said, if God doesn't judge us for abortions in the USA, He'll have to apologize to Sodom. I pray our President will stop the murder of unborn babies and call our nation back to the God of our fathers. So far, President Obama's actions have not mirrored his statement below at the National Prayer Breakfast, but maybe he's waiting for better timing. We should all pray for guidance and for him to hear the voice of God in this and all things. God bless President Obama.
--------------------------------------------------

February 5th 2009 - Less than two hours ago, Jim Geraghty from NRO reported the following:

President Obama, moments ago, during the National Prayer Breakfast: "We know there is no God who condones the killing of an innocent human being."

So, let me guess, he'll wait another 24 hours before promoting the Freedom of Choice Act?
In response to this astounding and encouraging statement by radical proabortionist, President Obama, Ed Morrissey of HotAir.com wrote these insightful, sobering, and sagely words:

"Perhaps then President Obama would also agree that we know no God who condones the negligent killing of innocent human beings who survive abortions. Of course, Obama would have to acknowledge now that his position has changed since his days in the Illinois state legislature, when he helped protect abortionists by blocking legislation that would have required a second doctor to act on behalf of infants born alive after an abortion. God knows that those children were and are innocents, alive at birth, and left to die in abortion mills.

Perhaps that will also lead Obama to oppose the Freedom of Choice Act, which would remove all existing restrictions on the killing of innocent human beings in the womb. After all, once the sperm and egg combine, the result is a unique being, completely human, and alive. That isn’t a theological determination, but a scientific fact at the moment the cell begins to multiply, within minutes of conception. Certainly that would be the apex of innocence. If no God condones the killing of an innocent human being, the condemnation for that act would begin at life itself.

We will remind Presisdent Obama of his profound words at every opportunity over the next four years, and thank him for making this as clear as possible."
"The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will." (Proverbs 21:1) If President Obama's words were sincere this morning and not mere political accommodational spin to tickle the ears of gathered evangelicals at a prayer breakfast, then I say amen! Could the Lord be turning the heart of our President on this issue towards life? Time will tell...
So keep fervently praying beloved.
In that same chapter of Proverbs 21, Solomon ends as he began - with the Sovereignty of God over human affairs: "The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord."

Oh that we would see the demise of the abortion mill industry at every stage in our lifetime that has been tragically led by those possessing a seared conscience, and whom have delighted ethically, celebrated morally, profited financially, and participated barbarically in the murder of millions of unborn children. May this silent holocaust finally come to an end. Now that is the kind of "change" worth hoping for!
The battle is the Lord's!

Question: How did you feel about the Inauguration?
I told my Sunday school class it is like the wedding reception after the exchanging of the vows "celebration-hype" you have to watch and pray for the marriage .

How do you feel about a new President? How do you feel about your country?
I am going to support and pray for President Obama, according to the word of God Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

HOW DO YOU FEEL?
I feel hopeful in spite of all the reports that we hear. Yes, I have watched our stock and 401k almost vanish, interest rates increase, and work hours decrease. However, my trust, faith, and confidence, in God still stands strong. Isaiah 43:1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

Greetings Pastor Montgomery,
Thanks for adding value to our opinions! I am elated with great joy regarding our new President Obama and the First Lady Michelle Obama! We all are truly blessed with such great role models. God has appointed him, we were just given a chance to be a part of the election process.

This has been trying times for myself and others close to me. We are so grateful that there is New Hope, New Meaning, and a New President that equals New Beginnings.

We all have to do our part by beginning and ending the day with prayers of gratitude to our Father God! When you see the First Family, you can't help but feel and see the unconditional love they share among eachother and others not related to them(World). No more excuses from the mouths of the ones that think someone is holding them back....no more...no more...

Good evening, Pastor. When President Obama became President-Elect, I was numb. I couldn't understand why I was not as excited as everyone else. I know our history with America. Maybe I was exhaling for all the ancestors who fought for this moment. However, during the Inauguration, my daughters and I were glued to CNN. We stood when everyone present in Washington stood. I was excited and full of energy. When Bush got on the plane, I kicked up my leg and gave the "boot". I know he served his purpose but that doesn't mean I had to like it.

President Obama is not simply an African-American President. He has risen out of the bowels of Africa. The very same place our ancestors were snatched from. He is now in charge of a country our ancestors shed blood, lost lives and were forced to build. It's heavy and not to be taken lightly or for granted. I know that there will be challenges for President Obama but I will be praying for him and all leaders in authority.

I honestly feel that "overall" life has set us up for this moment in time. For a long time, I have heard pastors speak on the subject of transitional wealth. I kept asking how was God going to perform it. Now that I see the rich going to the pawn shops, financers getting caught stealing funds from the "rich", and the stock market declining - it's interesting watching God work. My finances have never been better. I am even able to budget funds for my savings account. My husband was not bringing his check home but he brings it home now. He's even working with his best friend who started his own construction company and my husband calls him to go to work (his friend picks him up). For years, my husband would not hold a job. My oldest son is doing better in school. Everything is turning around for our good. Praise God!! As they have done, I see many other men stepping up to the plate and finally living life on purpose.

I know he served his purpose but that doesn’t mean I had to like it.

President Obama is not simply an African-American President. He has risen out of the bowels of Africa. The very same place our ancestors were snatched from. He is now in charge of a country our ancestors shed blood, lost lives and were forced to build. It’s heavy and not to be taken lightly or for granted. I know that there will be challenges for President Obama but I will be praying for him and all leaders in authority.

I honestly feel that “overall” life has set us up for this moment in time. For a long time, I have heard pastors speak on the subject of transitional wealth. I kept asking how was God going to perform it. Now that I see the rich going to the pawn shops, financers getting caught stealing funds from the “rich”, and the stock market declining – it’s interesting watching God work. My finances have never been better. I am even able to budget funds for my savings account. My husband was not bringing his check home but he brings it home now. He’s even working with his best friend who started his own construction company and my husband calls him to go to work (his friend picks him up). For years, my husband would not hold a job. My oldest son is doing better in school. Everything is turning around for our good. Praise God!! As they have done, I see many other men stepping up to the plate and finally living life on purpose.
