We pray that in the wake of Hurricane Ike’s destruction, you, your family and friends are safe. Our God is awesome, and once again He has shown His faithfulness to us.
“The Church With Purpose” family will resume worship services on Sunday, September 21st. The focus of these services will be “Thanksgiving.” You may be asking yourself, “How can I be thankful during this time?” Many people in our region have lost their homes. Some homes have sustained damage due to water and wind. There is a temporary shortage of electricity, gas, food, water and other necessities. But during these times of inconvenience, know that GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL.
Continue to check this website for future updates. As we continue our cleanup process, our other ministry activities will resume. Please pass the word to those who may not have Internet access

Evacuation AGAIN? Here’s a way to help in just seconds!
What must be going through the minds and emotions of the people of New Orleans and surrounding areas? Having to evacuate AGAIN? Some of them just getting back on their feet, trying to rebuild their homes, communities and lives. How would you feel going through all of this ALL OVER AGAIN?
I believe in the power of prayer. Of course we are already planning to help through our Adopt A Family program. We’re raising funds even now. However I also have a concern for their mental and emotional well being.
