The only thing I can say is that I believe with every part of my being that we are in the last days. Working on my connection with the creator. Trying to become closer so that I may paved the road as I go during these trying times. I feel its going to get a whole lot worst before it gets better. So I keep my armor on and I’m ready for WAR!

One of my goals this year is to attend college. I am both a wife and mother. I was totally moved by you receiving your doctorate a couple of Sundays ago. I was awe struck at Sister Sandra receiving hers on this past Sunday. That was wonderful. You both deserve it. So many time the wife can be looked over. Thank God that did not happen this time. She deserved it. I remember looking at her for Easter wondering how in the world is she doing this with Pastor Ed in surgery? I know its just like the says, ” Nobody but the Lord!” Congratulations to you both. Happy BirthDay to Sister Saundra and God Bless You and Your Family. God Knows what you have imparted to my family cannot be measured. My husband and I are also commited this year to tithe faithfully.

There is a song that we used to sing @ church in Painesville Ohio, at Mt. Olive Baptist; that speaks to this situation more so now then when we as children tried to express..If (We) You Ever Needed the Lord Before.. Happy Birthday to you and Dr. Saundra Montgomery! I feel so blessed being under such a Great Ministry. I think that your recent accomplishements,earning a second PhD and first Lady receiving an Honorary Degree is so much deserved. Proverbs says, God’s lessons is the way to salvation and that leading others to understanding is a mark of wisdom. I am currently working on PhD, completion date is 2012. I see great things happening at ALC, with such powerful leadership in place.

My topic of discussion may be a little on the strange side, but I need advice. I am a convicted felon and also a single parent. My conviction is 8 years old and I have been trying to find employment since my release. I have had any luck though. I have stayed out of trouble because being locked up is not for me, so I stay on the straight and narrow. But my question is how do people expect a person to become a productive citizen if NOBODY will give them a chance? I too believe we are at the end times. I have the Bible on CD (a Christmas present from my son) and I research any and all questions that I might have concerning our Savior because I want to know how to prepare for the end times.
I use to watch the word network all the time, however it seems our Savior has become a profitable market. Now I only watch Tomorrow’s world and Amazing facts atwhich I have learned alot.
I have yet to find a church that speaks about Bible prophecy and the meaning behind Revelation. I’m not concerned with the way of the world or money matters as my faith in our Savior provides all of my needs. Narrow is the road and only a few will find it…I now see what that means.

My topic of discussion today is sometimes it feels as if for whatever reason God is not hearing my prayers. I am a born against christian woman mother of two. I have some issues concerning background which prevents me from gaining suitable employment 3 weeks ago i was doing really bad finacially, spirtually and emotionally i had to turn to several churches and organizations to help me make ends meet and me and my children will not be homeless. So i thought well why not go to my own church for help. so i went on the alc website i and i wrote a long email explaining my situation and asking for help in any way, I needed prayer and still do and some encouragement. That was a month ago and no one ever returned a phone call or email so of course i felt very discouraged and let down. I feel maybe this is not my season for things to go right for me. So i was confused and really emotional about not hearing from anyone at the church even though my situation was really hard and i said well i know the pastor is really busy but i am a sheep that needed her church to be there. so i emailed again last week and still nothing so please email me at antoinettehampton111@yahoo.com

I have dreams of people dead or alive. I had a dream of a man I have never met yet my coworker was in the dream. I told my coworker a man that could have been her dad was in my dream. To make a long story short.. it was him. I never seen her dad before. I would say its a gift from God.. but why me? I have dreams and it seem like the dream is trying to tell me about a persons feelings about a situation or dreams of what they are experiencing in their own life.

Hello Dr.Montgomery, I just have to tell you how much I enjoy and appreciate your ministry. I first came to A.L.C. in 1996 with a friend. And shortly after that, a lot of stuff started going on with my family. So I didn’t attend any more. But every time I passed by driving I would think of the one thing that you said then that you still say now. You are welcome in this house. And to some people it may not mean much or they don’t feel anything about it, but for me it meant a new life. So I appreciate that so much. Thanks and have a blessed day.

I’m losing hope. I’m starting to question if any of this is worth it. I’m so tired both mentally and physically. I don’t have the energy to care. I have no desire to attend church service anymore, and when I do I can’t hear the motivational speaker (minister).

No, it’s not the Titanic it’s the USS Gigantic, because that’s what the captain of our ship has in store for each of us- blessing beyond what we can even think or imagine. So here’s our itinerary: First and most important, we must all board the Relation-ship; this is where we get to dine at the Master’s table and really get to know the captain of our ship and other brethren on this journey. Next, we must choose to Fellow-ship. Be careful who you choose to Fellow-ship with. Don’t get caught up in the waves of Popularity and Prosperity and end up in the belly of a whale, worse than jail, because the bars aren’t visible, but the bondage is real. How well you do on the Relation-ship and the Fellow-ship gauges the level of your Court-ship. (Outer-Court; Holy Place) Courtship determines how passionate you are about your Relation-ship. Are you satisfied with where you are at (Outer Court), or, do you want to take your relationship to the next level (Holy Place). But why settle….Remember, this is an all expense paid cruise. Your captain, J. Christ, has already paid the price, and although parts of this journey have been devastating, for the better part it has been captivating, and if the best is yet to come….. Then we go on… and enter into Wor-ship—this is where it all makes sense, it all comes together. This is where you lose all inhibitions, prohibitions, and fleshly restrictions, and let God be God and let it do what it do, for the Kingdom of God. Thus far has been great and I have learned a lot since we’ve entered into this new year. By the way HAPPY NEW YEAR!. God has unveiled his word to me as I have drawn to him for more knowledge and understanding. I don’t know a lot about politics so I want comment on that, but I have given some funds to support Haiti. My heart goes out to that nation. God is working miracles over there though. I know that God is blessing the Church. The gates of hell shall not prevail against us. I’m walking in Devine Hope thru the word God. It may not be as I want it to be, but it shall be as I believe God. Please keep me in your prayers and continue to encourage the body.

Today 01/27/10 My family and myelf have recieved some real bad news. My 17yr old nephew, my sisters 1st born, the first grandson and our first nephew is HIV positive at 17yrs old. This is the hardest thing we have ever dealt with and we need god’s guidance on how to deal with this. Everyone is soooo hurt right now and we need god right now.Me myself I can’t stop crying , it’s a pain in my heart I can’t make go away. We need prayer right now. My husband and myself are still unemployed and barely making it but this right here has taken over all of that. I need god so much right now, I’m crying as I send this message to you. I just want to understand why? He’s a child that made one mistake and his life is gone . Please pray for my family and myself because at this time we really need it.

It seems like when I was in the world trying to take care of myself that I was better off than I am now by trusting in God. When I was in the world at least I knew He was there, I could constantly see all of the ways that He was calling me, I just chose to ignore Him, and live my life the way I wanted to. Now I’ve finally learned that everything I thought I wanted means nothing without Him, and He’s now my greatest desire. However since I made that decision my life has gotten worse instead of better. I went from being a successful financially secure woman, to a broke, sick, lonely woman. I’m desperately still trying to trust Him, because I’m at a point were that’s my only option. However lately I’ve noticed that I’ve been turning the channel when the ministers start talking about trusting God, or tuning out when you start talking about it. I’ve been thinking, If He’s here and really going to do something about the situation, WHEN!

I wanted to take a moment to say Thank You. From the first time I saw you and Pastor Sandra on BET, I enjoyed your ministry. My pastor last night from the subject “what do you really want”, much to my surprise I opened your message from the 27th which opened up with “what do you want?” Reading the blogs and looking at the pitfalls of life are we destined to sit by the pool of Bethesda waiting for the angel to stir the waters or are we willing to make our way to the pool even though others get there before us?

Again thank you for your message of hope, love and peace. I look forward to the blogs.

It is so great for you to continue to find ways to communicate with us. Blogging is a great tool. I pray that you and family continue to be a blessing for us all. My immediate family consists of three children and I. We are almost consistently battling with trials and tribulations. Evil spirits are lurking and trying to destroy us mentally, emotionally, financially, and physically! We refuse to give in to evil! We are asking that you keep our family in your prayers so the devil knows God army cannot be defeated in Jesus name Amen! My son especially has a cloud of trouble that keep following him and he is only 18 years old. The jail/prison wants him bad, but I know that is not where he needs to be. His name is Taurean Wright and I need you to pray with us that he stay protected by God and all evil lurking in his path gets destroyed.

Two things…I don’t know how you can believe positively anymore when God through the earthquake just took out or killed 110,000+ Haitians, that were there due to being dropped off in slavery hundreds of years ago. After seeing that many bodies limp upon instant death, I don’t know if we should value life as much as the bible tells us to. I presently feel like we matter but we don’t matter.

Second Point:
On the President:

I just don’t know. I feel like he is clueless. Just as clueless as the George Bush, but he, this president speaks better. Yes, I am proud that he is African American and the President, but I totally see a “Jimmy Carter” presidency – one term. He lacks the military experience, lacks the insightfulness to understanding the beauracracy of the government. It is just a mess! I try not to worry about it…and I wish he would just stop talking to the media and just let time pass and hope for a miracle.

I don’t know if you’ve seen the dvd “The Truth Behind Hip Hop” by Craige Lewis, if you have i wanted to how you feel and what are your thoughts about it. It literally made my husband and I throw out a lot of the music that we listen to.

My concern is for the poeple of Haiti, will the people who are the continue to show and give support long after the shock is over, like they have with the poeple in New Orleans.
