News Flash

We pray that in the wake of Hurricane Ike’s destruction, you, your family and friends are safe. Our God is awesome, and once again He has shown His faithfulness to us.

“The Church With Purpose” family will resume worship services on Sunday, September 21st. The focus of these services will be “Thanksgiving.” You may be asking yourself, “How can I be thankful during this time?” Many people in our region have lost their homes. Some homes have sustained damage due to water and wind. There is a temporary shortage of electricity, gas, food, water and other necessities. But during these times of inconvenience, know that GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL.

Continue to check this website for future updates. As we continue our cleanup process, our other ministry activities will resume. Please pass the word to those who may not have Internet access

We look forward to seeing you Sunday, September 21st at 9 and 11am.

I remember when you spoke about pending storm a couple of weeks before Hurricane Ike. It was thought provoking and caused me to double check my camping supplies and important documents. With electrical power out, I bar-b-qued and eat thankfully that I heeded warning and was able to share with my neighbor. Thank you, Pastor Ed.
