Yes, I admit I’m an optimist. However, just living life has also taught me to temper optimism with a healthy dose of realism. I believe we are on the verge of great success – even in challenging times like these. When things look this dark – I expect great enlightenment to flood our lives. When people predict the worst – I start seeing the best in people. I think we’re in for a major surprise on the national economic stage in America.
There is a parallel of our times straight out of the bible. Judges 6:1 begins a story about a young man named Gideon. His generation was going through recession, housing foreclosures and decreasing jobs. So, what did he do? How did Gideon handle it?
The story goes on to say that God told him to “save” his country by using the inner strength he posse ssed. In other words – use the power within you. Not a new strength that God will give you but a present strength, an unrealized – untapped power that he already had resident within him. Gideon just had to change his mindset from seeing the “future as dark”.
What you see through the eyes of vision can determine what you possess in the future.
I get the wonderful opportunity to speak and interact with thousands of people each week. But I don’t want to spend more time talking here with our online family I want to listen. I want to hear your thoughts. I want you to capsulate your thoughts, sharpen your expressions and tell me what YOU want to talk about.
Question: What kind of subjects would you like to see us tackle each week?
Talk to Me!
